Baseball Camps at the North Carolina Baseball Academy are for ALL SKILL LEVELS! Our staff of full time directors and coaches welcome the beginner as well as the seasoned veteran. We do our best to create a FUN, SAFE and INSTRUCTIONAL Camp experience for all Summer Camps.
All camps are held on our beautiful 12 acre complex with 3 Baseball Fields, Pitching Mounds and Outdoor Batting Cages. Camp tuition includes all instruction and a camp tee shirt.

Offseason Training/Camps
Holiday Camps December 27-28, 2024
Typical Day Camp Session Schedule
9:00- 9:05 Daily Welcome of Campers and Agenda for the Day
9:05- 9:30 Demonstration of fundamentals
9:30- 9:40 Campers Break into Groups. Functional Warm Up and Stretch
9:40- 9:45 Water Break
9:45- 11:15 Station Work. Campers move to all work stations and work on skills.
*Water Breaks are given on every rotation to keep campers hydrated and cool
11:15- 11:55 Daily Controlled Coach Pitch Scrimmage. Teams are divided equally by age and skill.
*Hitting Camps and Position Specific Camps follow the same type schedule but do not play games. More time spent developing skills.
Typical Weekly Camp Session Schedule
1-hour session:
5 minutes – Welcome Players and go over agenda
10 minutes – Demonstration of fundamentals
45 minutes – Station work
Dismissal after 1 hour has concluded.
What to Bring to Camp
- Comfortable Dress. Shorts or Baseball Pants
- Tennis Shoes and Baseball Cleats
- Baseball Bat and Glove
- Baseball Hat and Sun Screen for outdoor camps
- Drink is optional. Water will be provided
- Any Snack you may need
- Any medicine you may need. See Camp Director if special directions are needed.
Camper Safety and Rules
- NO HAZING, BULLYING, TEASING, OR FIGHTING will be tolerated.
- Respect other campers, equipment, and gear
- Be on Time
- Wear Batting Helmets when hitting at all times.
- Put YOUR Equipment in your BAG
- When Throwing- eye contact is a must!
- Only throw balls and swing bats when instructed
- Have FUN, Listen and Work Hard!
Watching the Camp
NC Baseball Academy welcomes parents, grandparents and friends to all our camps to watch your child participate. Our baseball fields have bleachers and plenty of space to set up a chair so you can enjoy watching your ballplayer!
Warning: Sometimes batted balls or thrown balls make their way over these fences so caution should be taken to stay safe at all times.
Hitting Camps
Preseason Hitter’s Showcase – 2 days per week preseason hitting for High School players (January – February)
Middle School Prep Hitting Camp – 1 day per week preseason hitting for Middle School players (January – February)
Preseason Elite Youth Hitting – 1 day per week preseason hitting camp for ages 7-12 (February – March)
Summer Elite Hitting Camp – 3 day hitting camp during the summer for players ages 8-18 (Session 1 – June, Session 2 – July)
Holiday Elite Hitting Camp – 2 day hitting camp during winter break for players ages 8-18 (December)
Pitching Camps
Preseason Elite Pitching Camp – 1 day per week preseason pitching camp for players ages 8-12 (February – March)
Elite Pitching Camp – 3 day pitching camp during the summer for players ages 8-18 (Session 1 – June, Session 2 – July)
Scott Bankhead’s Pitching Academy – 2 day per week developmental program for the serious High School pitcher (November – December)
Holiday Pitching Camp – 2 day pitching camp during winter break for players ages 8-18 (December)
Catching Camps
Elite Catching Camp – 3 day catching camp during the summer for players ages 8-18 (Session 1 – June, Session 2 – July)
Catching Academy – 2 day per week development program for the serious High School Catcher (November – December)
Holiday Catching Camp – 2 day catching camp during winter break for ages 8-18 (December)
Fielding Camps
Gold Glove Fielding Camp – 3 day defense-only fielding camp during the summer for players ages 8-18 (July)
All Skills Camps
5-7 Year Old All Skills Camp – 6 1-hour sessions for players ages 5-7 (February)
Spring Break Camp – 3 day camp during Spring Break for players ages 5-12 (March/April)
7-9 Year Old All Skills & Game Camp – 4 2-hour sessions for players ages 7-9 (April)
All Skills Day Camp – 4 day camp during the summer for players ages 5-12 (June)
5-7 Year Old Baseball Camp – 3 day camp during the summer specifically for players ages 5-7 (July)
All Skills & Game Camp – 3 day camp near the end of summer break for players ages 8-12 (August)
Sports Performance Training Camps
Academy Power Training – NCBA partners with William Bradley Sports Performance for this 2 day per week Strength, Speed, and Agility training program for High School Players. (Session 1 November – December, Session 2 January – February)
