NCBA is hosting 13u OPEN TRYOUTS October 23 and 30 at 5:30 pm for all players wanting to join the program for offseason 2024  through spring/summer 2025

Players also needed to finalize the 14u team!

Fill out the form below to request a tryout, and one of our coaches will work with you to set up a tryout.

Tryout Format and Details

  • Players need to bring all baseball equipment they would normally bring to a game, AND a pair of turfs/tennis shoes in case of bad weather. Evaluations will take place as scheduled rain or shine
  • Please arrive at least 15-20 minutes early so you have time to get checked in and stretched out.
  • Tryout Sessions will typically last 1-1.5 hours. Depending on how many participants, they may run shorter or longer.
  • After all players are checked in, the coaches will have a quick huddle/meeting with the players and partner them up to play catch/loosen arms.
  • All players will get a chance to showcase their running speed, infield skills, outfield skills, and batting.
  • Players that Pitch and/or Catch will have the opportunity to showcase those skills as well.
  • Immediately following Player Evaluations, there will be a meeting with all the parents where we will talk about the program in more detail.
  • Players are not required to attend multiple tryout sessions – attending any one of the tryouts makes you eligible for team selection

If you can’t make it to the open tryouts, and would still like to be considered for the team: please let us know as far in advance as possible so we can set up an individual/small group evaluation session with one of our staff.

Please note: Players in High School for the 2024-2025 Academic Year (2026, 2027, and 2028 graduating classes) need to try out for NCBA’s Golden Spikes regardless of their age – use this link: http://ncbagoldenspikes.com/golden-spikes-tryouts/
