NC Baseball Academy All Skills GAME Camp – Learn, Play & Have Fun!

Join us for the NC Baseball Academy All Skills GAME Camp, a fun, safe, and highly instructional camp designed for players ages 8-12. This unique camp combines fundamental skill development with real game situations, helping young athletes improve their abilities while learning the finer points of baseball strategy and teamwork.

What Campers Will Learn:

✅ Throwing & Catching Mechanics
✅ Base Running Techniques
✅ Hitting Fundamentals
✅ Fielding Ground Balls & Fly Balls
✅ Situational Team Offense & Defense

Each day includes a Controlled Coach-Pitch Game, allowing players to apply their skills in a real-game setting while receiving constructive, hands-on coaching to improve their baseball IQ.

Elite Coaching Staff

This camp is led by Scott Bankhead, a former 10-year Major League pitcher and 2x USA Baseball National Team Head Pitching Coach, alongside NC Baseball Academy Assistant Director Jeff Guerrie. Our experienced staff provides top-tier instruction in a positive and engaging environment for all skill levels.

Time: 9:00 AM – 12:00 PM
Ages: 8-12 ONLY
Tuition: $190 (Non-refundable)

Daily Camp Schedule:

🕘 9:00 – 9:05 → Welcome & Daily Agenda
🕘 9:05 – 9:25 → Age-Based Grouping, Functional Warm-Up & Stretching
🕘 9:25 – 9:40 → Throwing Mechanics & Footwork Techniques
💧 Water Break
🕘 9:45 – 11:05 → Skill Development Stations: Infield, Outfield, Cutoff/Relay, Double Plays, Team Defense, Base Running & Situational Baseball
💧 Hydration Breaks at Every Rotation
🕘 11:05 – 11:55 → Controlled Coach-Pitch Game (Instructional & Age-Appropriate)
🕘 11:55 – 12:00 → Closing Remarks & Dismissal

When Throwing- eye contact is a must!
Only throw balls and swing bats when instructed

What to Bring to Camp

Comfortable Dress. Shorts or Baseball Pants (Pants may be preferred as players may want to slide into bases during the games)
Tennis Shoes and Baseball Cleats
Baseball Hat/sunscreen
Any baseball equipment that you would normally bring to a game
Drink is optional. Water will be provided.
Any Snack you may need
Batting Gloves if necessary
Any medicine you may need. See Camp Director if special directions are needed.

Watching the Camp

NC Baseball Academy welcomes parents, grandparents and friends to all our camps to watch your child participate. Our baseball fields have bleachers and plenty of protective fencing to keep you safe. Warning: Sometimes batted balls or thrown balls make their way over these fences so extreme caution should be taken to stay safe at all times. Stay fully behind a fence and enjoy the excitement of watching your ballplayer!
