Join NCBA this winter for a two-day Holiday Elite Pro Hitting Camp, where you’ll train like the pros and learn the mechanics of a Major League hitter! Work with former and current professional players and coaches to develop a powerful, consistent swing using advanced techniques and state-of-the-art technology.

This camp is all about HITTING! Designed for all skill levels (ages 8-18), our fun and highly instructional training sessions will teach you the seven key hitting positions found in every elite swing:

Live-arm swings, advanced drill work, and situational hitting instruction will help refine your mechanics while building a smart, effective approach at the plate.

NC Baseball Academy utilizes the Rapsodo Hitting Program, providing campers with real-time swing metrics and data-driven insights used by top college and professional teams to evaluate hitting talent.

Elite Coaching Staff

This camp is headlined by NC Baseball Academy Head Hitting Instructor Jeff Guerrie, one of the region’s top young hitting coaches, specializing in Major League Swing characteristics and hitting analytics. Additional staff includes former Major League pitcher Scott Bankhead, as well as experienced high school and college coaches.

Camper Safety & Rules

NO HAZING of other campers
NO HORSE PLAY or Fighting Allowed
Respect other campers equipment and gear
NO TEASING of others
Be on Time
Wear Batting Helmets when hitting at all times.
Put YOUR Equipment in your BAG
When Throwing- eye contact is a must!
Only throw balls and swing bats when instructed
Have FUN, Listen and Work Hard! Most important Rule

What to Bring to Camp

Comfortable Dress. Shorts or Baseball Pants (Pants may be preferred as players may want to slide into bases during the games)
Tennis Shoes and Baseball Cleats
Baseball Hat/sunscreen
Any baseball equipment that you would normally bring to a game
Drink is optional. Water will be provided.
Any Snack you may need
Batting Gloves if necessary
Any medicine you may need. See Camp Director if special directions are needed.

Watching the Camp

NC Baseball Academy welcomes parents, grandparents and friends to all our camps to watch your child participate. Our baseball fields have bleachers and plenty of protective fencing to keep you safe. Warning: Sometimes batted balls or thrown balls make their way over these fences so extreme caution should be taken to stay safe at all times. Stay fully behind a fence and enjoy the excitement of watching your ballplayer!
