NCBA Elite Summer Catching Camp – Elevate Your Game Behind the Plate!

🔹 Train Like an Elite Catcher at NC Baseball Academy!

The Elite Summer Catching Baseball Camp is a highly instructional, position-specific camp designed to enhance and accelerate your skills as a catcher. Over the course of three days, campers will receive expert coaching, hands-on drills, and video analysis to develop the key fundamentals required to excel at one of the game’s most demanding positions.

✅ Blocking Techniques – Master body control & ball containment
✅ Footwork & Throwing – Develop quick transfers & powerful throws

Ages: 8-12 & 13-18 (Grouped by age & skill level)
Tuition: $190 (Non-refundable, includes all instruction & camp t-shirt)

Daily Schedule:

9:00 – 9:05 – Welcome & Agenda Overview
9:05 – 9:30 – Group Instruction & Demonstrations
9:30 – 9:40 – Warm-up, Light Stretch & Catch Play
9:40 – 9:45 – Water Break & Group Assignments
9:45 – 11:55 – Station Work: Receiving, Blocking, Footwork, Throwing & More
💦 Water Breaks included between rotations for hydration
11:55 – 12:00 – Closing Remarks & Dismissal

What to Bring to Camp

Comfortable Dress. Shorts or Baseball Pants (Pants may be preferred as players may want to slide into bases during the games)
Tennis Shoes and Baseball Cleats
Baseball Hat/sunscreen
Any baseball equipment that you would normally bring to a game
Drink is optional. Water will be provided.
Any Snack you may need
Batting Gloves if necessary
Any medicine you may need. See Camp Director if special directions are needed.

Watching the Camp

NC Baseball Academy welcomes parents, grandparents and friends to all our camps to watch your child participate. Our baseball fields have bleachers and plenty of protective fencing to keep you safe. Warning: Sometimes batted balls or thrown balls make their way over these fences so extreme caution should be taken to stay safe at all times. Stay fully behind a fence and enjoy the excitement of watching your ballplayer!
