The Holiday Elite Pro Catching Camp this winter is designed to help you improve all skills needed to become an outstanding catcher. Major Emphasis will be on Set Up, Receiving, Blocking, Foot Work, and Throwing through advanced methods of teaching and drill work. Our staff will consist of Former College and Professional Catchers eager to teach you the finer points of the toughest position to play on the diamond. Video Analysis and a low camper to staff ratio allows for greater individual instruction.
Overall, this baseball catching camp serves as a valuable resource for catcher who are dedicated to improving their skills, gaining a competitive edge, and maximizing their potential in the game of baseball. This camp is for players of all skill levels from beginners looking to learn the fundamentals, to advanced catchers aiming to fine tune their abilities. It offers a focused and immersive learning environment where participants can interact with fellow catchers and learn from each other.
Our Holiday Elite Pro Catching Camps are position specific camps that are highly instructional and are designed to enhance and accelerate the catcher’s knowledge and overall skill level for ages 8-18. Learn all the proper mechanics and techniques of Receiving, Blocking, Footwork and Throwing to make yourself an elite catcher. Video analysis will help each catcher see what their strengths and weaknesses are at arguably the most important position on the field of play. Daily advanced drill work and quality reps will take your skills to the next level. The camp staff is headlined by NC Baseball Academy Assistant Director Jeff Guerrie and a supporting cast of college level players. The Holiday Elite Pro Catching Camp is structured to allow each camper time with a multitude of coaches as they rotate around our camp work stations working on the finer points of catching.

Ages: 8-12 & 13-18
Time: 1pm - 4pm
This is a two day camp designed to advance their catching skills and knowledge. The tuition fee includes camp, video analysis and a NCBA T-shirt.

- NO HAZING of other campers
- NO HORSE PLAY or Fighting Allowed
- Respect other campers equipment and gear
- NO TEASING of others
- Be on Time
- Wear Batting Helmets when hitting at all times.
- Put YOUR Equipment in your BAG
- When Throwing- eye contact is a must!
- Only throw balls and swing bats when instructed
- Have FUN, Listen and Work Hard! Most important Rule

What to Bring to Camp
- Comfortable Dress. Shorts or Baseball Pants (Pants may be preferred as players may want to slide into bases during the games)
- Tennis Shoes and Baseball Cleats
- Baseball Hat/sunscreen
- Any baseball equipment that you would normally bring to a game
- Drink is optional. Water will be provided.
- Any Snack you may need
- Batting Gloves if necessary
- Any medicine you may need. See Camp Director if special directions are needed.

Watching the Camp
NC Baseball Academy welcomes parents, grandparents and friends to all our camps to watch your child participate. Our baseball fields have bleachers and plenty of protective fencing to keep you safe. Warning: Sometimes batted balls or thrown balls make their way over these fences so extreme caution should be taken to stay safe at all times. Stay fully behind a fence and enjoy the excitement of watching your ballplayer!
